School Profile In November 16, 2004 the NORTHERN PLAIN HIGH SCHOOL had been started its realization through the effort of MR.ARNULFO FUENTES MERCED, a secondary public school teacher of San Isidro National High School. It was created then as an annex and started with 38 students that temporarily occupied the barangay multipurpose hall of Bgy.Patag as its venue of the learning process and through the benevolence and untiring support of its mother school headed by its Principal, MR. VENANCIO C. PIMENTEL.
The following year, the school transferred in its present school site at Sitio Tinaan, Bgy.Patag through the donated one hectare land through the initiative of its local government officials headed by its Punong Barangay Hon. NESTOR B. SABENIA et. al. as friends of education and stakeholders. The enrolment increased to 140. Its present location is situated. In July 2006, the school was finally bestowed the permit to operate with serial nos. 0004 s. 2006 by the regional office of the Department. On its first year of operation, the funds for the maintenance and operations of the school depends of the PTA fund while salaries of the teachers are under the responsibility of the provincial government. Now the school has an annual budget allocation from the national fund but intended only for the school MOOE. Luckily there is already an allocation for the Personal Services (PS) from the General Appropriations Act of 2007. At present there are already six (6) teacher plantilla items, of which all of them have been already filled up by newly hired teachers. |
